The Island
Isla Mujeres, Mexico is a small island located 8 miles off the coast of Cancun. Only 4 miles long, Isla Mujeres boasts beautiful white sand beaches, warm turquoise waters and great exploration opportunies.

Isla, as it's affectionatly called by locals and visitors, is the perfect spot to come and "leave it all behind." Spend your days relaxing on the beautiful Caribbean beaches, or take a day to explore the islands hidden treasures.
Snorkeling, diving, fishing, whale shark tours (in season only) and golf cart rentals are all very popular day activities. Dolphin Discovery and the eco park Garrafon are great options as well.
Although near Cancun, Isla Mujeres offers a laidback option for those who want to immerse themselves in a more local experience.
Getting to Isla is as easy as a quick ferry ride from Cancun's Gran Puerto dock. The boats are modern and fast and sitting on the outside top deck allows you to enjoy beautiful views of the Caribbean Sea.
